Located in Nattages, mid-mountain village of Southern Bugey, the vineyard of Domaine Vivier dominates the rhône and contemplates the Alps. The 6 hectares of the vineyard extend on a shallow clay-limestone soil, limiting yields.

The vines located at 500 m of altitude are grassed and the driving in reasoned culture is facilitated by a natural environment, constituted of wood and old meadows, possessions of the abbey of Pierre Châtel.
